THAT´S ME!
I am an award-winning director known for my creative vision and ability to bring stories to life through captivating imagery. Drawing on my extensive creative career, I bring a unique perspective to my directorial work that few in the industry can match.
My latest Short film, „LE TERRAIN VAGUE“, was honored at the 2024 Urban Film Festival in Paris, where it received the coveted award. Currently, I’m working as Creative Supervisor in the editing room for a major 5-part Harley Davidson film documentary featuring Ron Perlman.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with international music icons including Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Pet Shop Boys, Die Ärzte, Craig David, Moonbootica, Fatman Scoop, Redman, Mario Winans, Cro to name a few. Beyond music, danc & film, I’ve developed and executed advertising campaigns as director and creative consultant across various industries—automotive, food, fashion and military sectors. I also provided Artistic Direction for Miriam Dehne’s feature film „Little Paris.“ Innovation and a deep passion for my craft define my work.
A turning point in my filmmaking career came in 2011 when I discovered the then-unknown and unsigned hype artist Cro. I wrote, directed, and produced the music video for Cro’s song „Easy,“ which made history as Germany’s first viral YouTube hit, led to several Echo nominations and earned multiple platinum and gold awards. „No video, no panda“ – that’s what insiders said, that’s what I heard. That same year, I received another nomination for „Kris“ by Revolverheld. This success strengthened my decision to fully dedicate myself to directing.
Few people know both sides of the camera as well as the client and agency perspectives like I do. With a strong foundation in music, performance, body language, dance, and directing, plus an impressive list of projects and collaborations, I unite visual worlds and continue to set new standards in the creative industry. Loud, loyal, competent, and a team player—with a track record unlike any other.
THE DANCER WHO HELPED SHAPING THE CULTURE
I started dancing in 1985 and won my first dance competition that same year, inspired by an advertising campaign for the film „Breakin‘!“ This early success set me on a path that would shape my entire career and creative perspective.
My journey continued as a dancer, choreographer and founding member of the renowned Southside Rockers, formed in 1993 when four breakdance crews merged: the „Point Blank Breakers“ from Heidelberg, „Kinder der Zukunft“ from Pforzheim, „Breakin-Effects“ and „B-Force“ from Stuttgart. I was not only performing but also serving on the management team and working as Co-Director and Co-Writer for our music videos. We are also part of the influential Stuttgart Kolchose collective alongside Freundeskreis, Massive Töne and more.
As Southside Rockers, we quickly established ourselves as a powerhouse in the international hip-hop scene. Touring worldwide from jam to jam, from show to show was our mission representing the young culture. In 1997, we won the award for Best Show at the prestigious Battle of the Year (BOTY) in Braunschweig and secured 2nd place overall in the competition. That same year, we took 1st place at Urban Skillz in Zürich and 2nd place at the UK B-Boy Championships in London. Was truly set us apart was our revolutionary approach to B-Boy performances. We pioneered the integration of micro theater pieces into breakdance showcases, completely transforming the concept of B-Boy performances worldwide. This innovative fusion of dance and theatrical storytelling became our signature style and influenced countless crews across the globe.
Our big breakthrough came in 1998 when we were asked to present Run-D.M.C. vs. Jason Nevins‚ #1 chart hit „It’s Like That.“ After multiple TV and live performances, including The Dome 5 and the Comet Award, we released our own debut single „Rock On,“ premiering it at The Dome 7. We filmed the music video in New York with a cameo appearance by Jorge „Popmaster Fabel“ Pabon from the legendary Rock Steady Crew.
We appeared in music videos for influential German hip-hop acts including Freundeskreis, Zeb Roc Ski & Stieber Twins, DJ Tomekk’s „1, 2, 3… Rhymes Galore“ and Spax. As dancers, Southside Rockers worked with major brands including Adidas, Sony, Cocal-Cola, Fila, Mercedes-Benz, Evian and so many more. In 2001, we created the groundbreaking musical „Ghettoblaster – Stimme der Straße.“ The show combined breakdance, music, and theater to portray the challenges of urban life, with the Heidelberg Stadtblatt describing us as long-standing „masters of the scene.„

BUILD & PROTECT THE DANCE COMMUNITY
After my active dance career, I decided to bring my creative talents behind the stage. As co-founder of the dance community Whogotskillz, I pioneered a global movement that triggered the entire workshop and teaching sector worldwide.
I played a pivotal role in promoting US star choreographers who worked with superstars like Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Madonna and more to promote such dance choreography culture.
We were the first to contribute high-level viral choreography content, establishing a category that has since grown to become one of the largest streaming genres.
Through Whogotskillz and building on this foundation, we established the groundbreaking publishing company URBAN DANCE that was the first institution to successfully represent and protect choreographers‘ RIGHTS to dance pieces and choreographies from music videos and stage performances. I recognized that dancers and choreographers were creating valuable intellectual property that deserved legal protection. This pioneering effort to protect creative work was transformative for the industry, leading to developing concepts and campaigns for brands including MTV, Nikewomen, Opel, Sony and Sprite.
